The Desert Art Tour: An official Modernism Week Event, runs Friday and Saturday, February 23rd & 24th, 2024 from 11 am to 4 pm each day (extended hours at the Perez Art District on Friday from 11am to 7pm)

You are invited to see artist’s workspaces and learn about how their contemporary work is influenced by artists of the mid-century modern era. Educational materials linking their work to the great masters will be on display. Come meet the artists of the Coachella Valley; you will be able to see their creations, ask questions, and buy art directly. And, most importantly, you will enjoy a behind-the-scenes experience and discussion not usually available to the public.

Our artists’ studios are in Palm Springs and in Cathedral City. This is a free self-guided tour. You choose where to start, which studios to see, and visit the art districts in the order of your choosing. Look for the official Modernism Week Tour signage to find participating studios. Your own transportation is required.

Each location has plenty of parking. Handicap parking is available; This activity is wheelchair accessible.
