Road Closure Update for Cathedral City:
Due to this morning’s flash flood, the following roads continue to remain temporarily closed in Cathedral City:
Varner Road – from Gene Autry Trail to Mountain View Road – Closed to general traffic, open to emergency vehicles
Varner Road – closed from Mountain View Road all the way east to Bob Hope Drive
Date Palm Drive remains closed from I-10 north to Varner Road
Vista Chino at the Wash remains closed. It will mostly likely re-open tomorrow afternoon.
