Saturday, November 23rd – Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa, Rancho Mirage Saturday Morning Balloon Launch Hot air balloons activities begin at 6 am with the inflation of up to 30 hot air balloons. Around 7 am, the balloons will mass ascend into the sky. Free admission. Tethered Balloon Rides will be available for purchase.

Tethered hot air balloon rides in Downtown Cathedral City, 68510 East Palm Canyon Drive beginning at 7:00 am until 11:00 a.m. Purchase tickets on site.
Food Truck Fiesta (Saturday Only) 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
The beautiful new Amphitheatre Park, in downtown Cathedral City is host to the Food Truck Fiesta. Come hungry for the “Food Truck Fiesta” featuring the best food trucks in Southern California and the fun in the Instagram Village, Walk Through Balloon, and beer and wine garden. Food Truck Passes are available for $5 at www.hotairballoonfest.com. *Cathedral City residents, active military and kids under 12 are admitted free.
Banana Balloon Candy Drop – 11 a.m.
Bring the kids to the Festival Lawn for the “Banana Balloon Candy Drop” where a giant banana balloon will toss 10,000 pieces of candy then will lower to the ground, and once landed, kids can rush inside the lawn to grab up the candy thanks to La Michoacana Dulceria / Candy Shop. Free admission.
LIVE Music on the Main Stage
Join us near the Festival Lawn from 11:00am to 8:00 p.m. for free LIVE entertainment at the Main Stage featuring local bands that have played at “Coachella” and, Lisa and the Gents, Iconic Allstars and the 50th anniversary of Woodstock with Woodstock Revisited.
Healthy Life Fest 10:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m.
The Healthy Life Fest is a festival full of inspiration, positive vibration, entertainment and education about living a vibrant, well-balanced, healthy sustainable lifestyle. The festival will have natural product vendors, educational speakers, live art demonstrations, yoga, meditation and wellness activities, musical entertainment, plant-based food vendors, and games for children and adults.
Rooftop Viewing Lounge
The Rooftop Viewing Lounge on the Downtown Parking Structure offers majestic views of the mountains and Valley floor and a unique view of the hot air balloons. VIP No-Host bar, DJ spinning dance tunes, bouncy houses make this the perfect location to enjoy a bird’ eye view of the Balloon Glow to Music. Tickets are available online for $10 or $15 on the day of the event that include the Rooftop Viewing Lounge and entrance to the Food Truck Fiesta at www.HotAirBalloonFest.com.
Saturday Night Balloon Glow to Music
At 5:00 p.m. families should gather downtown to pick their spot and watch the inflation of up to 30 hot air balloons for the Cathedral City Balloon Glow to Music. This free 45-minute balloon glow to music begins at 6:00 p.m. and will light up the night sky with a kaleidoscope of color, sound, and enjoyment. Free admission.

Sunday – November 24 Big League Dreams Sports Park, Cathedral City
Breakfast and Special Shapes Sunday Balloons
The “Breakfast & Special Shapes Sunday Balloons” at Big League Dreams Sports Park (BLD), 33700 Date Palm Drive, where attendees can enjoy an American breakfast while watching the hot air balloons and specialty balloons inflate on three ball fields at 6 a.m., glow and then launch and race across the Valley for prizes. Come see up to 8 special shape balloons of fun characters. Tethered balloon rides will also be available. Tickets are available online at www.HotAirBalloonFest.com
