On August 26, 2020, the City Council approved a special use permit to allow the Mary Pickford Theatre to create a pop-up Drive-In movie experience in Downtown Cathedral City. Located just south of Highway 111 and east of West Buddy Rogers Avenue, the Drive-In now offers shows starting at 7:15 pm. On Thursday and Friday, the scheduled movie is “Tenet,” and on Saturday, it is “The War with Grandpa.”
Tickets are available through the Mary Pickford Theatre online box office at https://dplaceentertainment.com/location/mary-pickford. The venue can hold approximately 50 cars per showing and guests will enjoy a large outdoor screen while sitting in the comfort of their own automobiles, snacking on Mary Pickford Theatre popcorn and refreshments, and having a great destination for date or family night. You can also pre-order your concessions online so they are delivered to your car with ease. Tickets are $9.99 per person (kids 2 years and younger are free). Enjoy!
