Desert Water Agency (DWA) Announces Construction Work To Begin on Perez Road Tomorrow and at the End of the Month
DWA will be working on Perez Road near East Palm Canyon Drive Thursday, January 15th and again January 25th-29th. All work will be completed at night to minimize traffic and water service disruptions.
DWA will be replacing a pipeline and water services in anticipation of future storm drain construction. The work includes abandoning existing facilities and relocating them with new, stronger materials.
During the nighttime hours of January 15th, DWA will close two lanes of traffic on Perez Road and one north-bound turn lane on East Palm Canyon Drive from approximately 10 PM to 7 AM.
During January 25th-29th, DWA will close traffic lanes as needed from 10 PM to 6 AM and will ensure traffic is able to flow on Perez Road. Water service will be out for less than five customers during nighttime hours only.
