The City of Cathedral City has been notified that Southern California Edison (SCE) will need to replace a deteriorated electrical pole near Dinah Shore Drive and Wishing Well Trail (one block east of Cathedral Canyon Drive) on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 starting at 6:00 pm to Wednesday, May 19, 2021 ending at 6:00 am. This will cause westbound lanes on Dinah Shore Drive to be closed to traffic. Eastbound lanes will remain open.
Motorists heading west on Dinah Shore Drive should follow detour route signs during the closure or use an alternative route such as Ramon Road or East Palm Canyon Drive for east / west traffic.
