Closed since the start of the COVID-19 shutdowns in late March 2020, the “Fountain of Life” in Town Square Park has gone through a complete restoration and is now open and in time for the Cathedral City Hot Air Balloon Festival and Food Truck Fiesta.
The “Fountain of Life” is an interactive water art feature built more than 20 years ago and will be the backdrop to West Coast Artists’ art show this Friday, November 19th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday, November 20th from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 pm.
The restoration included structural fixes to the granite towers, repairing many water statues, clearing out calcified water pipes and fittings, and replacing the soft surface that surrounds the water feature. Come down to the Balloon Festival and Art Show this weekend to admire the beauty of this city landmark.
