With the new subvariant of the coronavirus, called BA.2, spreading in other parts of the United States, it is only a matter of time before it reaches Southern California, if it has not arrived already. Riverside University Health System, in collaboration with the City of Cathedral City, is offering a COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm at the Cathedral City Public Library located at 33520 Date Palm Drive. This clinic is open to the public and for those who meet CDC guidelines (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/stay-up-to-date.html).
The clinic will offer both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. This would include:
- Pfizer: 1st and 2nd doses, additional dose, boosters, for those 12 years and older
- Moderna: 1st and 2nd doses, additional dose, boosters for those 18 years and older
