City Council of Cathedral City Will Sign a Proclamation Calling on All Levels of Government to Support the Equal Rights of All People

Proclamation will be signed by the city council at “Cathedral City LGBT Days”

CATHEDRAL CITY, CA. – [April 1, 2015] Cathedral City will celebrate diversity on Easter Weekend during the Cathedral City LGBT Days, April 3-5, 2015 in Downtown Cathedral City as well as at participating Cathedral City businesses.

On Friday, April 3, 2015 at 6:35 pm, the City Council will welcome residents and visitors to the premiere of the annual celebration at the Opening Kickoff Reception and sign a City proclamation declaring April 3-5, 2015 as “Cathedral City LGBT Days”. The proclamation also declares that “Cathedral City stands united in opposing efforts by any government to discriminate against or marginalize Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender people.”
