The City of Cathedral City participated in the 36th Annual Palm Spring Pride Parade in Downtown Palm Springs on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022, featuring its new float with a message “Take You to the Clouds” designed by Jimmy Cantua and Ralph Thompson. “Say Gay” was the theme for 2022 Palm Springs Pride.
The colorful float featured hot air balloon gondolas to promote the upcoming Cathedral City Hot Air Balloon Festival (Nov. 18-20, 2022), a lead banner to promote Cathedral City LGBT Days (March 3-5, 2023), Dinner with Patsi, a tribute to the late comedian Leslie Jordan, and volunteers from AMP Sports Lounge, located at 68-718 E Palm Canyon Dr 201 Suite 201, Cathedral City, CA 92234.
