Traffic Signal at Vista Chino and Date Palm Drive Will Remain in “Flashing Red” Mode Until Tuesday Morning Due to Malfunction
CATHEDRAL CITY, CA [May 1, 2015] Cathedral City Public Works Department has placed the traffic signals at the intersection of Date Palm and Vista Chino in the “Flashing Red” mode due to the traffic light malfunctioning. An emergency repair has been scheduled for Monday morning as it requires a complete wiring leg replacement. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, this repair should be accomplished by Tuesday morning.
Motorists should expect delays as this is a major intersection off of Interstate 10. Alternative routes include utilizing Interstate 10 exits from Bob Hope Drive to the east or Gene Autry Trial to the west.
