City Announces Vacancies for Cannabis Task Force, Parks & Community Events Commission

The City of Cathedral City currently has a vacancy on the Parks & Community Events Commission:

  • One vacant seat has a term continuing through June 30, 2023, with the possibility of being extended to a three-year term, and will be nominated by Councilmember Ernesto Gutierrez.

This term will begin immediately. Please submit your application no later than Monday, April 3, 2023, to the office of the City Clerk, 68-700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero, Cathedral City, CA 92234 or via email at thermosillo@cathedralcity.gov.

Applications can be downloaded from the City’s website here. Interviews will be scheduled with each candidate upon the close of the application period.

The City of Cathedral City also has one resident representative vacancy on the Cannabis Task Force. This term will begin immediately. If you are interested in serving on this Task Force please submit your application to the City Clerk, 68-700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero, Cathedral City, CA 92234 or by email at thermosillo@cathedralcity.gov. Applications can be downloaded here on the City’s website.

The appointment for the Cannabis Task Force will be made by the City Manager. Interviews will be scheduled with applicants when applications are received.
