The City of Cathedral City’s Communications & Special Events Department proudly presents Tastes & Sounds of Cathedral City, a free weekly food and music event held every Tuesday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Cathedral City Community Amphitheater, February 11 – April 8, 2025.
Each week will feature a local artist performing while a local restaurant or food truck provides dinner. Visitors can enjoy culinary experiences while listening to live music in a beautiful outdoor setting. Each one will be free and open to the community and is a great way to connect with others while enjoying great food and music.
“The incredible support from our residents and visitors during last year’s series showed us just how special these community gatherings can be,” said Ryan Hunt, the City’s Communications & Events Manager. “Building on that success, we’re excited to bring back Tastes & Sounds with an amazing lineup of local talent and food vendors. The Cathedral City Community Amphitheater continues to be the perfect setting for bringing our community together through music, food, and shared experiences.”
No tickets or reservations are required in advance. Limited picnic tables will be available, but please feel free to bring your own blanket and/or lawn chair. Food will be available for purchase. It’s set to include Cathedral City’s own Taqueria Copacabana, Meester Zebra Restaurant, and Nick’s Bistro, as well as Coachella Valley favorites El Reaper, Uncle D’s Smokehouse BBQ & Grill, FatBoy Tacos, and TKB Food Truck. E & E Pel’s in Cathedral City will also join us Feb. 25, March 4, March 11 & April 1 selling their famous fresh fruit all natural Italian ice drinks!
