EAST PALM CANYON DRIVE TO RECEIVE NEW SLURRY SEAL
ROAD IMPROVEMENTS STARTING THURSDAY
The City of Cathedral City is pleased to announce that East Palm Canyon Drive will receive a new slurry seal treatment and lane stripping which will vastly improve driving conditions and aesthetics from our city limits with Rancho Mirage all the way to our city limits with Palm Springs. The $600,000 project is being funded through Caltrans and City gas tax dollars as more than 530,000 square feet of pavement will receive the slurry seal treatment.
East Palm Canyon Drive will remain open during the entire process; however, lanes will be reduced in each direction between the hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Motorists should expect delays.
