Cathedral City Boys & Girls Club – 35th Anniversary Celebration
Last week, the Cathedral City Boys & Girls Club celebrated their 35th Anniversary Celebration and was honored by the City Council for the service they provide to the community.
Prior to the celebration, Executive Director Scott Robinson worked feverishly to bring in some major donations to help transform the club and place it on the right path for its future – as he has done with so many children who benefit from this organization. Nearly 150 employees from UNUM Insurance volunteered to help with the physical transformation of older buildings and a recently acquired building next door. (UNUM also held a team building exercise at the City’s Festival Lawn during their stay.)
Attached are some before and after photos of this magnificent transformation. Thanks to Mr. Robinson and those who support the Cathedral City Boys and Girls Club, our children now have a happy place to learn, play, and grow.
