More than 80 people including most of the City Council came to the Civic Center Rotunda this past Saturday evening to watch Cathedral City High School students perform an abridged version of William Shakespeare’s play, “Romeo and Juliet.”
Although the crowd endured temperatures soaring past 100 degrees, all left very pleased having watched these gifted, young actors improve their talents. The free event was made possible under the direction of CCHS Theater Department Director Ray Franz.
We look forward to having the students return during “season” when the weather is more inviting.
