MEDICAL CANNABIS TASK FORCE – CITY OF CATHEDRAL CITY
Pursuant to the Cathedral City Municipal Code Section 5.88.140, a Medical Cannabis Task Force is to be established consisting of one representative from the following groups designated by the City Manager:
Cathedral City Police Department
Cathedral City Fire Department
Cathedral City Planning Department
Cathedral City Mayor’s Office
A Medical Cannabis Patient
An Owner of a Dispensary
An Owner of a Cultivation Site
An Owner of a Manufacturing site
An Interested Member of the Cathedral City Community, who must be a resident
The purpose of this Task Force is to ensure that Medical Cannabis provision in Cathedral City is conducted in a safe and orderly manner to protect the welfare of Medical Cannabis patients and the community. The Task Force will meet a minimum of twice per year and the City Manager will serve as the Chair.
If you are interested in serving on the Medical Cannabis Task Force representing a Medical Cannabis Patient, a Cultivation Site Owner, a Manufacturing Site Owner or an Interested Member of the Cathedral City Community, who must be a resident, please Submit a letter of interest including the following:
• Why you wish to be considered for appointment to the Task Force.
• Your relevant experience and knowledge.
