35 Balloon Glow for Cathedral City’s 35th Anniversary
Simply spectacular! Thousands came downtown Cathedral City tonight to enjoy a 35 hot air balloon glow to music that went on for nearly an hour. Here are a few glimpses. The balloons filled both the festival lawn and the vacant lot next to the Parking Garage towering high to seven stories.
Tomorrow the festivities continue at Century Park in Cathedral City for a 7 am balloon launch. Century Park is located at 69947 Century Park Dr near Da Vall Street. Free admission to come watch nearly 50 balloons. Or, come downtown at 68600 East Palm Canyon Drive and ride a tethered hot air balloon, shop at Desert Oasis Market, enjoy restaurant row featuring Cousin’s Maine Lobster food truck!
