Cathedral City Fire Department Seeks Applications for the 2017 “Safe and Sane Fireworks Program”
The Cathedral City Fire Department will facilitate another year of Safe and Sane Fireworks sales, and enforcement of storage and discharge regulations for the 2017 Independence Day holiday.
Firework stand applications and program instructions will be available to non-profit groups beginning April 3 at 7AM. Applications must be submitted with a $100 non-refundable fee no later than 4PM on April 6. Applications will be available at the Cathedral City Fire Department. Administration Offices, 32-100 Desert Vista Rd, Cathedral City, and can also be downloaded from the Department’s website at www.cathedralcityfire.org.
The Fireworks Program is open to IRS exempt organizations. All fireworks stands must be operated by Cathedral City-based non-profit groups. For more information, please call (760) 770-8208.
