This includes field services, shelter and adoption services. If you are dealing with a rattlesnake issue, this would fall under “animal control”. If you are facing a non-emergency animal control issue after normal business hours, then please call the non-emergency line of the Cathedral City Police Department at (760) 770-0300. If it is an emergency animal control issue, please dial 911.
Vector Control for Cathedral City is handled by the Coachella Valley Mosquito and Vector Control District. This includes problems with mosquitoes, ticks, roof rats, red imported fire ants, eye gnats, flies, and Africanized honey bees.
