The Cathedral City Police Department, in conjunction with Hope Through Housing held a Back-to-School event at the River Canyon Apartments in Cathedral City, CA. Both CCPMA and CCPOA contributed funds to purchase about 50 backpacks and school supplies for the children in the housing complex.
Services provided at the complex include free after-school and summer childcare for our residents and surrounding community. River Canyon hosted the Back-to-School Event for residents on July 5th from 3-5pm where children were able to pick up supplies for the school year and enjoy a last hurrah before returning to school.
