Beyond a doubt, Cathedral City High School, under the leadership of May LeRoy, has the best high school choir in the state. This award-winning choir has performed throughout the world.
Now, the CCHS Choir has been invited to sing in the critically acclaimed Broadway Series, produced by Manhattan Concert Productions, in New York City on February 14-18, 2020. The trip is an educational experience where the students will collaborate with a Broadway professional cast and crew, perform with the New York City Chamber Orchestra, and get to observe a Broadway show.
It is a trip of a lifetime for these talented students, but they need your help. Each student must raise $2,200 for the registration, transportation and hotel accommodations. If you can help “pay it forward”, the Choir would be most appreciative for donations at all levels. Any contribution you could make would bring the students closer to this amazing experience. Checks can be made out to CCHS Choir and are tax deductible.
