Cathedral City Police Department invites residents of the Cathedral City Cove neighborhood to attend an important community meeting on Monday, February 10, 2025, at 5:30 PM. The meeting will be held at the City Council Chambers and will address recent incidents that have caused concern among community members.
Law enforcement officials will provide updates on their ongoing investigation into reported disturbances, including incidents involving an individual using a bullhorn to create noise disturbances in residential areas. Police Chief George Crum and other department representatives will be present to discuss the situation, outline steps being taken to address community concerns, and answer questions from residents.
The department has recently launched a criminal investigation following multiple reports of disruptive behavior and the emergence of video evidence showing an individual using a bullhorn in a residential area. This meeting will provide residents the opportunity to receive direct updates on the ongoing investigation, learn about applicable local ordinances and laws, and share additional information or concerns with law enforcement. Officers will also explain proper procedures for reporting crimes and suspicious activities. Attendees will also be able to discuss strategies for maintaining neighborhood peace and safety and understand the process for reporting similar incidents.
