In the debut episode of “The Art of Cathedral City,” CCTV Host Conrad Angel Corral takes viewers on a delightful journey through one of our city’s most vibrant public art installations. “CATalysts of the Future,” created by acclaimed artists Karen and Tony Barone, transforms Downtown Cathedral City’s Town Square Park into an open-air gallery of whimsical, larger-than-life sculptures.
The exhibition showcases a colorful collection of playful figures, including spotted rabbits, bright pink poodles, golden cats, and other eye-catching creations that embody the Barones’ signature style. Each piece invites visitors to experience art in a joyful, accessible way that appeals to art enthusiasts and families alike.
The exhibition, presented by the City of Cathedral City and sponsored by the Chuck Jones Gallery, remains on display throughout Town Square Park until April 20th. The public is encouraged to visit in person to experience these delightful sculptures that have quickly become beloved landmarks in our community.
Don’t miss this opportunity to see these unique installations before the exhibition closes. As the Cathedral City Public Arts Commission proudly states, Cathedral City is truly “Where Art Lives.”
