Community Enjoyed the 2nd Annual International Meatball Festival
Fun was had by all at the 2nd Annual International Meatball Festival this past Sunday, October 1, 2017 hosted by Sammy’s Place Restaurant. The City of Cathedral City proudly sponsored the event as three City Departments joined local businesses and organizations by volunteering their time and making delicious meatballs. Attendees had an opportunity to taste each vendor’s meatballs, vote for their favorite, and listen to some wonderful entertainment.
Several meatball competitions occured throughout the event including a meatball tasting battle between our local fire, police, and administrative departments. Here’s a video captured and edited by Public Arts Commissioner Alan Carvalho highlighting the event and the winners: https://youtu.be/qVcWRf6jEL8
