Starting Jan. 15, 2024, through Feb. 26, 2024, Chrisp Company will be working on the removal and installation of traffic stripes, pavement markings, and traffic signage. These improvements will modify the existing traffic lanes to accommodate the installation of new bike lanes along both sides of East Palm Canyon Drive from the western City limits to Cathedral Canyon Drive.
The construction hours will be from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Monday through Friday. City of Cathedral City staff will do our best not to inconvenience residents and normal business operations. The City appreciates your cooperation and patience during the construction of this Project.
The City Council of Cathedral City awarded a construction contract to Chrisp Company in the amount of $237,840 for the construction of the East Palm Canyon Drive Bike Lanes Project.
