CATHEDRAL CITY, CA [May 16, 2019] Two of three eastbound lanes of Ramon Road from Date Palm Drive to El Toro Road will be closed and traffic will be reduced to one lane starting at 3:00 pm on Monday, May 20, 2019 through Thursday, May 23, 2019 due to repairs being made on underground electrical lines. Motorists should expect significant delays and use alternative routes such as Dinah Shore Drive. The westbound lanes will not be affected. Motorists will encounter lane reductions just east of Cathedral Canyon Drive all the way through the construction.
On Wednesday, May 22, 2019, the right turn lane of north bound Date Palm Drive onto east bound Ramon Road will also be closed through Thursday, May 23, 2019. Motorists should use an alternate route.
