Cone Zone Alert: Intersections along East Palm Canyon Drive in Cathedral City Will Be Partially Closed during the Evenings for Traffic Light Pole Painting
In preparation of the City’s 35th Anniversary Celebration November 18-20, 2016, Cathedral City will begin painting traffic light poles on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. and each weeknight through the end of October at the following intersections:
- East Palm Canyon Drive and Cathedral Canyon Drive
- East Palm Canyon Drive and West Buddy Rogers
- East Palm Canyon Drive and Monty Hall Drive
- East Palm Canyon Drive and Allen Avenue
- East Palm Canyon Drive and Date Palm Drive
All intersections will remain open during the project, but one lane in each direction will be closed at the various intersections on a rotating basis. Since the work is being done after peak driving times, little if any traffic delays should occur.
