Signal outages will occur starting at 7:00 pm tonight into the morning hours of June 27
CATHEDRAL CITY, CA [June 26, 2018] Southern California Edison has notified the City of Cathedral City that they will be removing and replacing lines along East Palm Canyon Drive starting at 9:30 p.m. on June 26, 2018 through 6:00 a.m. on June 27, 2018.
Traffic signals at five intersections in Cathedral City will either go into red flash mode or will be completely shut off beginning at 7:00 pm on June 26, 2018. The intersections of East Palm Canyon Drive and Monty Hall/Van Fleet, Allen Avenue, Date Palm Drive, Sungate Way, and Officer Jermaine Gibson Avenue will be affected.
Motorists can expect short delays as the electrical work will be conducted during the overnight hours when traffic is lessened.
