CATHEDRAL CITY, CA [February 28, 2022] Varner Road is temporarily closed to traffic between Date Palm Drive and Mountain View Road due to a trash truck overturned on Varner Road. Crews estimate that the road will reopen at approximately noon today.
Motorists must take an alternate route such as Interstate 10 for eastbound and westbound travel.
