Construction on the new Cathedral City Festival Lawn Has Begun in Downtown Cathedral City
Cathedral City Public Works Crews began construction this morning on what will become the new Cathedral City Festival Lawn adjacent to the UltraMAX Theater and Bonta Restaurant situated along Highway 111 in Downtown. The new festival lawn is being built on a previous dirt lot and is expected to be completed for the first scheduled event, “Town Square Art Affaire” present by West Coast Artists on January 10 – 11, 2015.
Other upcoming events that plan to use the new Festival Lawn include the Cathedral City Hot Air Balloon Festival on February 13-15, Passport to Health: Health Fair & 5K Glo Run on February 28th, Shorty’s Rib Fest on March 7-8, and many more to be announced soon.
