- Feb 1-Feb. 28. The Coyote Series Celebrates: Black History Month. - Feb. 4. The SMSU Pan African Student Success Center, the Pan African Collegiate Scholars Program and the Black Residential Scholars Living and Learning Community invite you to a panel on Black Feminism titled, “Lift as We Climb: The Importance of Black Women in Higher Education” from 12pm-2pm. - Feb 9. Join CSUSB’s Conversations on Diversity continued by the President’s Diversity Equity Inclusion programming sub-committee honoring the work of our UDC colleagues. - Feb 12. Movie Night. Join us for a viewing of “I Am Not Your Negro” at 6pm. “I Am Not Your Negro” is an award-winning documentary film narrated by Samuel L. Jackson and directed by Raoul Peck, based on James Baldwin’s unfinished manuscript Remember This House. Register:
- Feb. 18. The Black Student Empowerment Symposium is an annual event to provide applicants and admitted students to CSUSB an opportunity to learn about the CSUSB Black Student Experience from 4pm-6pm. Registration link will be updated on our website.
- Feb. 22. Kicking Knowledge PAC II PACS is hosted by The Pan African Student Success Center and the Pan African Collegiate Scholars Program from 3pm-4pm. Join us and get to know one another. Register:
- Feb. 23. Join CSUSB’s Staff Development Center for the monthly Coyote Learning Circle from 11am-12pm. This month come meet the Pan African Student Success Center Coordinator Charles Gaylord. Link available on our BHM website.
