The September “Dinner with Patsi” held at Southern Belle Restaurant (best beignets – go try them) in Cathedral City raised $1,512.00 for S.C.R.A.P. Gallery of Cathedral City. Karen Riley, Executive Director, accepted the funds raised by the community who simply throw their loose change into Patsi’s red hat to support wonderful programs in Cathedral City. This month’s funds will go to purchase glue for art projects utilized by school children in Palm Springs Unified School District. As Karen says, “we use a lot of glue!” However, that glue holds a lot of recycled and reused items to make wonderful works of art.
The next “Dinner with Patsi” will occur on Wednesday, October 20th from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Barrell District Restaurant, 35939 Date Palm Drive. Money donated in October will go to the Cathedral City High School Choir.
