KEN PAGE is widely known as the voice of MR. OOGIE BOOGIE in the classic DISNEY, TIM BURTON film, THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS. He has performed the score live at THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL, BARCLAY CENTER N.Y. Twice at LONDON’S – SSE, OVO ARENA, WEMBLEY as well as Tokyo, Glasgow, Dublin and Los Angeles’ Banc of California Stadium. Ken has also voiced all the subsequent video games, Disney Park attractions etc. Film: DREAMGIRLS, TORCH SONG TRILOGY, ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN etc. BROADWAY: GUYS AND DOLLS, Nicely-Nicely Johnson (All-black revival, THEATRE WORLD AWARD). He recreated that role at THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL where he also performed the role of SEBASTIAN in THE LITTLE MERMAID, live to film. Other credits include CATS (OBC & Video-Stage/Film Casts – Old Deuteronomy, GRAMMY AWARD ALBUM), AIN’T MISBEHAVIN’ (OBC, L.A, PARIS, NBC T.V, DRAMA DESK AWARD- Best Actor, GRAMMY AWARD ALBUM), THE WIZ, (BC, Lion) WEST END – LONDON CHILDREN OF EDEN, MY ONE AND ONLY CONCERT- LONDON PALLADIUM. He has performed in forty-four productions with THE ST. LOUIS MUNY and has been the announcing/commercial “voice of The Muny” for the past six years. His solo concert PAGE BY PAGE, was recorded live and released on CD (LML Music). In CABARET/CONCERT: most recently, THE EUGENE O’NEIL CABARET CONFERENCE and JAZZ AT LINCOLN CENTER/ MABEL MERCER FOUNDATION’S tribute to NAT KING COLE. In 2022, Mr. Page appeared in a sold out, critically acclaimed, one night only engagement at New York City’s 54 BELOW. He has been honored with a ST. LOUIS ARTS COUNCIL-LIFETIME ACHIEVMENT AWARD. Mr. Page is the 2023 recipient of THE NYC MAC AWARDS LIFETIME ACHIEVMENT HONOR in CABARET and PROJECT ONE – BLACK THEATRE CONFERENCE’S, LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD. Ken Page holds an honorary BFA degree from AMERICAN MUSIC AND DRAMATIC ACADEMY Los Angeles.
