Crimes in the Desert

March 1 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Join us for “Crimes in the Desert,” an immersive pulp reading experience presented by Starlite Pulp. Step into a world of mystery and intrigue as acclaimed performers Tod Goldberg, Jim Ruland, Brian Townsley, and Nolan Knight bring classic noir tales to life against the backdrop of our desert community.

Set in the Cathedral City Library, this dramatic reading will transport you to a bygone era of detective fiction, femme fatales, and desert mysteries. The vintage-inspired aesthetic, complete with palm trees and classic cars, sets the perfect tone for this unique literary event.

The reading takes place Saturday, March 1st at 2 PM, sponsored by the Cathedral City Senior Center, Villa Maje, Starlite Pulp, and the Cathedral City Public Arts Commission. Whether you’re a longtime fan of pulp fiction or simply curious about this iconic American literary genre, this event promises an entertaining afternoon celebrating the art of storytelling.

Free admission. All ages welcome.
