Every two seconds, someone needs blood. Here in the Coachella Valley, especially in the summer months, we experience a local blood shortage and an increase need for residents to donate blood.  Our current blood supply is critically low and surgeries may need to be canceled due to a lack of donated blood.

Thanks to Northgate Community Church in Cathedral City, you can donate blood to save a life during four upcoming blood drives:

• Friday, September 18, 8 am to 1 pm
• Wednesday, October 14, 8 am to 1 pm
• Wednesday, November 11, 8 am to 1 pm
• Wednesday, December 9, 8 am to 1 pm
