Cathedral City no longer allows any sort of consumer and or professional fireworks of any kind. The Citizens of our community have clearly made a strong case for increased enforcement and public safety. Fireworks jeopardize the health and welfare of those around us including veterans suffering from PTSD, neighbors, friends, and pets. There are many festivities planned during this summer holiday that provide opportunities including professional fireworks shows. The following link has many of the events planned in our valley over the Fourth of July Holiday.
Again, for the health and safety of those around you, do not take the chance of shooting off fireworks in Cathedral City. The Fire Department, Police Department, and the citizens of this city have expressed the seriousness of this matter.
