Five Fun Things to Do this Week in Cathedral City
The “season” is here and there are so many great, fun events to do right here in Cathedral City:
- Desert Oasis Market – a new 40+ vendors, weekly outdoor market located at the Welk Resort’s parking lot, 34567 Cathedral Canyon Drive. It opens this Tuesday, October 25th from 4 pm to 8 pm.

FallFest – a brand new festival featuring a full carnival with games, pumpkin patch, hay maze, food and craft vendors, LIVE entertainment and beer garden. Located in Downtown Cathedral City on the Festival Lawn and beyond, 68600 East Palm Canyon Drive. It opens this Thursday to the public and runs through Sunday.

Día de los Muertos – a celebration to honor the memory of loved ones featuring folkloric dancers, food and merchandise vendors, student art contest, community altar, Mariachi bands and face painting. Located at Desert Memorial Park, corner of Da Vall Drive and Ramon Drive. The City of Cathedral City is the title sponsor. It happens on Saturday, October 29th from 11 am to 3 pm.

Cathedral City’s Halloween Spooktacular at FallFest – bring the kids for trick or treating, Halloween costume contests, police and fire department exhibitions, music, and family resource booths. Located in front of City Hall, 68700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero. Free admission to FallFest during Halloween Spooktacular and a free screening at 4:15 pm of “Hotel Transylvania” at the Mary Pickford Theatre. Line passes available at the Mary Pickford Theatre box office. All the fun happens on Sunday, October 30th from 1 pm to 4 pm.
