The Cathedral City Community Coalition presents an invaluable, free seminar entitled, “Get Job Ready,” this Friday, June 21, 2019 beginning at 8:00 am located at the Cathedral City Public Library, Community Room, 32520 Date Palm Drive in Cathedral City. The seminar will address topics on Essential Hiring Skills and pathways to a career in skilled trades and public safety. From 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, the seminar will offer employment vendors and how to prepare for filling out an application. You can come to one session or all.
Featured speakers include Matthew Campos of Desert Best Friend’s Closet, Elmer Diaz of I.B.E.W. Local 440, Wendy Frederick of Riverside County Economic Development Agency, Kimberly Krause of the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce, and City Manager Charlie McClendon.
