Every registered voter in California will receive the November 3, 2020 General Election ballot in the mail this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ballots will begin to be mailed as early as Monday, October 5, 2020. You can fill-out your ballot and mail it back to the Riverside County Registrar of Voters office in the pre-paid envelope that accompanies your ballot. Your envelope must be postmarked no later than Tuesday, November 3, 2020 to count. If you are not comfortable mailing your ballot, you can drop the ballot off at designated Ballot Drop-off Locations throughout Riverside County beginning October 5, 2020 through November 3, 2020. As long as you are registered in Riverside County, then you can drop the ballot off at any designated ballot drop-off location anywhere in Riverside County.
The following are the Ballot Drop-off locations in Cathedral City beginning October 5, 2020 through November 3, 2020:
City Hall of Cathedral City – 68700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero – Monday through Thursday during Normal Business Hours. November 3, 2020 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Date Palm Country Club -36200 Date Palm Drive – Monday through Friday 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. November 3, 2020 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Additionally, Riverside County Registrar of Voters will also have Voter Assistance Centers for those who want to vote in person. Please know that you must bring your mailed ballot to the Voter Assistance Center or you will receive a provisional ballot that will be counted only after the Registrar of Voters can verify that you have not already turned in a mailed ballot. Remember, it is a felony to attempt to vote more than once.
The following are the Voter Assistance Centers in Cathedral City that will be open for Voters to vote or drop off their ballots on October 31, 2020 through November 2, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and November 3, 2020 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Please note that October 19, 2020, is the last day to register to vote or transfer registration for this election. Voter registration cards are available at City Hall. Voter registration is also available on the Registrar of Voters website at www.voteinfo.net.
