“Hollywood U2”, the best tribute band of “U2”, is performing LIVE and for FREE at the 5th Annual Cathedral City Hot Air Balloon Festival on Saturday, November 17th at 7:00 pm thanks to the festival’s sponsor, Sunniva, Inc. This band has toured the world performing to sold out crowds. The lead singer, Joe Hier, sounds and looks amazing similar to U2’s Bono. Joe got to sing “The Sweetest Thing” with Bono and U2 during their Innocence and Experience Tour and that performance made headlines around the world.
“Hollywood U2” will perform on the Main Stage right after Saturday night’s popular and free “Balloon Glow to Music” at the Festival Lawn in Downtown Cathedral City along Highway 111.
Join us earlier that afternoon for the tribute band, “Woodstock.” As we near the 50th anniversary of the Woodstock concert, the tribute band “Woodstock” brings the legendary sounds back to life with songs originally performed by Janis Joplin, Carlos Santana, David Crosby, Jimi Hendrix, Ian Anderson, and Keith Moon.
