Honor Our Veterans at Cathedral City’s “Healing Field”
“Healing Field” is a tribute to the men and women of uniform who gave the ultimate sacrifice to our country while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. The event is organized by the Cathedral City Rotary Clubs and sponsored by the City of Cathedral City.
Located in Patriot Park next to Big League Dreams Sports Park at the corner of Date Palm Drive and Dinah Shore Drive, “Healing Field” began with Opening Ceremonies this past Saturday as they read more than 6,800 names of fallen soldiers throughout the day.
Stop by today, Veteran’s Day, or on the final day of Saturday, November 12th by noon to view this beautiful static display of more than 6,800 American flags representing the fallen heroes. It’s quite moving. Park at the City Library or Big League Dreams Sports Park lots.
