La Michoacana Ice Cream Parlor Celebrates Its Grand Opening
Mayor Pro Tem Greg Pettis, Councilmember Mark Carnevale, and Economic Development Director Curt Watts represented Cathedral City during the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new La Michoacana Ice Cream Parlor located at 27765 Landau Boulevard, Cathedral City (in the same shopping center just east of Stater Bros. grocery store).
Hosted by the Cathedral City Chamber of Commerce, the ribbon cutting ceremony welcomed a full restaurant of spectators and offered an opportunity to taste the 100% natural fruit flavors and its authentic traditions of Mexican ice cream. All ice cream products are made fresh at the parlor. La Michoacana is owned and locally operated by the Bermudez family, pictured in the photos.
