Have you ever wanted to try your hand at painting abstract art? A cooperative venture between the Cathedral City Senior Center and the Cathedral City Public Arts Commission will give you a chance to try it with four online classes. The classes will be conducted by artist Anne Bedrick. Each class will guide you through the creative process. To facilitate your art making the CC Senior Center has FREE art kits available to CC Residents while supplies last. Please call the CC Senior Center in advance to check on availability and times to pick up the kit. During the Pandemic, the CC Senior Center answers their phones directly between 9 am and 1 pm Monday through Friday (760-321-1548) at other times leave a voice mail.
The links to the classes will be posted around 3 pm on December 9th and 16th and will remain live for several days so you can view and complete the work at your convenience. Here’s your chance to get a new piece of art for your home or a friend’s home for the holidays!
