FEATURE: SIN VERGUENZA (WITHOUT SHAME) 48 MIN. AltaMed’s English and Spanish telenovela web-series Sin Vergüenza (Without Shame) was developed to address the impact HIV has on the Latino community. Now in its second season, Sin Vergüenza highlights the importance of obtaining HIV medical treatment and support for disclosure and acceptance of dealing with a diagnosis. Stigma and shame continue to be the greatest obstacle for persons living with HIV. This series highlights those struggles and encourages the community to recognize the resiliency that exists in all.
