Most of us know about the Oprah Book Club, but did you know that Cathedral City has its very own? The Cathedral City Public Library and the Cathedral City Senior Center have teamed up to bring our residents a book club that connects neighbors through shared reading and healthy discussions. Best of all, the book club is virtual so you can participate from your own living room.
The book club meets on Tuesdays at 11 am. The current novel is “A Man Called Ove,” which is a story about a loveable curmudgeon and his community. You can pick up the book at the Cathedral City Senior Center. For more information about the program and to sign-up, call Rebecca at (760) 321-1548, ext. 309.
