Mayor and City Council to hold a Ribbon Cutting to official open the park
Mayor Ernesto Gutierrez and the City Council of Cathedral City will celebrate the Grand Opening of the Panorama Dog Park with a ribbon cutting celebration on Friday, May 13, 2022 starting at 9:00 am. The new, permanent dog park has space for both large and small dogs to run, play, and relax. It is located on the eastern side of Panorama Park, 28905 Avenida Maravilla.
The $610,000 dog park will allow dogs to socialize outdoors with other dogs in a fenced environment. It features a beautiful lawn, lighting, lush landscaping, a smart irrigation system, ADA accessibility, signage, shade trees, shade structures, recycled and environmentally friendly park benches, and drink stations for both humans and dogs.
Light refreshments will be provided during the Grand Opening. Please wear shoes appropriate for lawns.
