S.C.R.A.P. Gallery is partnering with the Cathedral City Peace Initiative to host Pieces for Peace, observing the United Nations International Day of Peace on Sept. 21, 2022.
Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on Sept. 21. The UN General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, through observing 24 hours of non-violence.
There will be a special exhibit at the Cathedral City Senior Center, located at 37171 W Buddy Rogers Ave, Cathedral City, CA 92234. Kids can create their own peace dove with the dove template (included below) using scraps, strips, and stuff. Need materials? S.C.R.A.P. has what you need.
