The 4th Annual Taste of Jalisco, presented by Sunniva, Inc., celebrates the sister city relationship between the cities of Cathedral City, California (USA) and Tequila, Jalisco (Mexico) through music, fashion, spirits, culture and cuisine in Downtown Cathedral City, 68-600 East Palm Canyon Drive, Festival Lawn.
Attendees will enjoy Mexican inspired cuisine including street tacos, grilled chicken skewers, tamales, and back by popular demand lobster tacos and lobster quesadillas from Cousin’s Maine Lobster food truck!
Come sample some of the best music and dance from award-winning singer Graciela Beltran con Mariachi, Zable Norteno, Salcido Norte, Mariachi Limón De Javier Hernandez, and the ballet folklorico group, Resplandor de Mexico Folklorico.
For those over 21 years of age, Corcel Tequila will be the choice for adult beverages featuring Tequila tasting, margaritas and flights of Tequila. You can also choose between Mexican and American beers.
Families will want to gather at 9:00 pm for the spectacular Taste of Jalisco Fireworks Show. The night sky in Downtown Cathedral City will light up with the dazzling array of pyrotechnics orchestrated by Garden State Fireworks, known for their shows in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
Although admission is free, attendees can reserve a table of eight people for the concerts and firework show. This feature allows you to dance, shop, eat, and converse without the worry of losing your seat. Tables can be purchased at www.TasteOfJalisco.com.
