41 Light Poles, each supports 2 banners, one on each side for a total of 82 banners.
Banners are colorful and get attention.
The Cathedral City Police Department, Cathedral City Fire Department, City of Cathedral City’s Special Events and many non-profit organizations bring to you the Halloween Spooktacular. Halloween Spooktacular will include free admission as well as exhibits sponsored by non-profit organizations, the Cathedral City Police Department and Cathedral City Fire Department.
In addition to games and trick or treating, families can interact with fire trucks, police vehicles, police motorcycle patrols, and the men and women who serve in those departments. This creates an opportunity for residents to connect with public safety officials to build safe communities in Cathedral City.
The Cathedral City Hot Air Balloon Festival. Join us for three days of activities for the whole family that include balloon tether rides, nighttime balloon glow, romantic dinners, musical entertainment, gourmet food, Kids' Zone family-friendly activities and so much more! There will be exciting events like the Now and Then Car Show, Kite Display and Fireworks.
General admission to the balloon festival is free, however, tickets and/or passes are required to participate in certain activities and access VIP areas. Fantasy Balloon Flights is family owned and operated and we are celebrating our 37th Anniversary of operating hot air balloon services in the Coachella Valley.

…AND SNOW! (well – at least the illusion of snow in the desert) Town Square Park in front of City Hall and the Mary Pickford Theatre will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland!
The Taste of Jalisco Festival focuses on local restaurants and caterers.
Taste of Jalisco, celebrates the sister city relationship between the cities of Cathedral City, California (USA) and Tequila, Jalisco (Mexico) through music, fashion, spirits, culture and cuisine. It is a time to recognize the strength in our diversity, appreciate our similarities, and expand our diplomatic commitment to improving the lives of both cities’ residents. Highlights include LIVE entertainment all day. The festival also features an outdoor market and a firework finale at 9:00 pm.
Food, music, fireworks, and fun for the whole family are the essential ingredients for Taste of Jalisco!

Cathedral City’s LGBT Days, honors the LGBT community and celebrate the diversity of Cathedral City. The free weekend festival includes an opening night kickoff party, LGBT Days bed race, live musical performances, outdoor dancing, food, beverages, and community booths.
Cathedral City LGBT Days celebrates the lives, history, and accomplishments of the LGBT community. The event highlights Cathedral City as a recipient of a perfect equality score by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.
